“It is hard to know where to begin with Tyler Haug and Selkirk Construction, because there are so many wonderful things to say about them. We spent three years searching for the perfect home in Idaho. While we started out looking at resales, it didn’t take long to realize we really needed to build to get what we wanted. Tyler was the 5th, and last, builder that we interviewed. We knew almost immediately that he was a fit for us, and we were never disappointed with our choice. He built our house in 2017, and he made the entire process an absolute joy. Where other builders wanted to build us what THEY wanted to build, Tyler wanted to build us exactly what WE wanted to build, and gave us wonderful ideas and input while designing our dream home. Selkirk was on time, on budget, and the communication was incredible. Tyler and his brother and business partner Cameron were very responsive to us every step of the way, and since we were building long distance, we never felt like we were “out of the loop” thanks to Tyler and Cameron. The bottom line is, yes, Selkirk is an amazing high end builder and will build you the house you dream of. But even more importantly, they are a family run business that treat you like family. These are genuinely lovely people we are happy and honored to know, trust implicitly, and we would build with them all over again. And again.”

“Our family met with Selkirk in the summer of 2019 per the recommendation of our realtor. After looking at several homes, we felt that we wanted to entertain building our own home as everything started to look the same. We met with Selkirk and immediately connected!
